UNILAG BUSINESS SCHOOL HOSTS INTAKE OF DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMME TO WELCOME RECEPTION.

The University of Lagos Business School has hosted newly admitted intakes into its Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme for the 2023/2024 academic session to a welcome reception. The well attended event took place on Friday 29th September, 2023, at the HRDC Building on Akoka Campus.

In his opening remarks, the Executive Director of ULBS, Professor Mike Adebamowo welcomed the participants to the University of Lagos Business School, where global business leaders are raised. He urged them to be ready for a life transforming experience and assured them that the knowledge acquired in the programme will totally improve their efficiency and productivity in the business world.

Director of DBA Programme, Dr. Simeon Ifere, congratulated the participants on their admission to the prestigious DBA Programme. He affirmed that the standard of UBLS is comparable to any other top business school in the world. It boasts of a faculty that is made up of world-class academics and industry based professional scholars who have outstanding track records in their respective professional and occupational fields. He encouraged them to feel free to meet and interact with their facilitators and make the most of their contact hours.

Mr. Opeoluwa Adesanya, one of the pioneer DBA intakes, addressed the newly admitted participants. He shared his experience with them and encouraged them to be committed.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folashade Ogunsola, OON was present at the event. She expressed delight at the reception and specially welcomed the new participants to the University of Lagos. She assured them of the excellence of the UNILAG brand and wished them a very successful study period at ULBS.

She was accompanied to the event by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics & Research), Professor Bola Oboh and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), Professor Ayo Atsenuwa.
