Kebbi State deputy governor, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida has awarded scholarships worth N50,000 each to 100 undergraduate students of Adamu Augie College of Education.
At the presentation ceremony, the Deputy Governor who was represented by his Personal Assistant, Alh. Abubakar Ahmed offered words of encouragement to the beneficiaries.
He assured them that this initiative was part of the Kebbi state government’s unflinching efforts to invest in the education and future of its citizens.
According to Abubakar Ahmed the gesture was not the first time, and it would not be the last.
He emphasized on government’s commitment to support student’s academic pursuits.
