REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION SCHEDULE FOR JAMB 2026

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence on Friday, January 31, 2026 and conclude on Wednesday, March 5, 2026. This period is crucial for prospective candidates to complete their registration and prepare for the examination.

Key Dates foe JAMB 2026

• Sales of UTME application Documents (Epin): January 19^th –February 26^th, 2026.
• UTME Registration The: January 26- February 28, 2026
• Sale of Direct Entry (DE) Application Documents: March 02 – April 25, 2026
• Close of Mock Exam Selection: 16^th February, 2026
• Close of Registration (Mock) : 26^th February, 2026
• Mock Exam Date: 28^th March, 2026
• Main UTME Exam: 16^th – 25^th April,  2026

Registration Fees:

• UTME (without Mock): NGN 7,200
• UTME (with Mock): NGN 8,700
• Direct Entry (DE): NGN 5,700

Compulsory Novel : Candidates are required to read The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba as part of the examination syllabus.

Registration Guidelines:

• Accredited Centers : Registration must be completed at JAMB – Approved CBT centers
• Unique Mobile Number: Each candidate must use a unique mobile number for registration.
• National Identification Number (NIN): A valid NIN is mandatory for registration.
